Whisk Your Matcha to Silky Perfection

Create smooth, beautifully frothy matcha at home with our Traditional Japanese Bamboo Matcha Whisk, traditionally known as a Chasen. Designed specifically for matcha preparation, its fine bamboo prongs help blend matcha powder and water evenly for a creamy texture with a delicate layer of froth.

Whether you enjoy your matcha traditionally, as a creamy latte or poured over ice, this essential tool makes preparing your daily matcha ritual simple and satisfying.

Crafted from Natural Bamboo

Our Matcha Whisk is carefully crafted from natural bamboo, giving it the flexibility needed to whisk matcha quickly and effectively without scratching your matcha bowl.

The lightweight design feels comfortable in the hand, while the fine whisking prongs help break up clumps and create a consistently smooth finish.

Made for Smooth, Frothy Matcha

Unlike a regular kitchen whisk or spoon, the Chasen is designed specifically for preparing matcha. Its many fine prongs rapidly combine the matcha and water, helping create that signature silky texture and light, creamy froth.

For best results, whisk your matcha briskly in a quick W or M-shaped motion until a fine layer of foam forms across the surface.

Care Instructions

Before first use, soak the whisk prongs in warm water for around 30 seconds to soften the bamboo.

After use, rinse gently with clean water and allow the whisk to air dry completely. Avoid using soap or placing the whisk in the dishwasher.
